Class Description:
Learn everything you need to know to get started on basic projects with this great Machine Basics sewing class! In this class you'll learn all of the standard machine parts, essential tools, machine set up (bobbin winding, upper threading, loading the bobbin, and bringing the bobbin thread up), skills like pinning, back stitching, proper fabric handling, and basic troubleshooting. You'll get to apply what you've learned on some practice samples as well.
Machine Basics is generally taught on our Janome SyStyle100 standard studio machines, however, the Janome HD3000 is also available for student use. Students that feel more comfortable learning on their own machine are welcome to bring them for any private lesson.

No need to bring anything! You will be provided with fabric and anything else you might need to complete this class!
