“Kelly and Hannah are technical, practical, organized, and flexible in their approach to teaching sewing. As our primary instructors at Stitch Lounge they consistently demonstrated their devotion to empowering their students and having a fun time doing it! These ladies live, play, and work the San Francisco crafty life and we are excited to know that they will continue to share their knowledge with our community.”

"I LOVED THIS PLACE! Took a few classes before it closed and they were great! Well run, excellent teachers with a wealth of knowledge. I am so pumped to hear that Kelly has a new place to hold classes, hooray!"

"So I took the "Uber Sewing Basics I" class and you know what? Sewing is just like riding a bike. Your lines might be a little wobbly at first but you get the hang of it again and you're good to go! I LOVED it. Kelly, the instructor was cool and had lots of good tips on how not to f*ck up when you're sewing. Just what I needed."

"Took a great class with Hannah on Sunday and have a few more coming up. They have a great vibe. very nice studio to sit and sew in. They have everything you need and more. I got some great advice and feel like the class I took was well worth the money. Also a great place to make new friends that love to sew as well. I highly recommend!!"

"I have taken a great class there. I forget the exact title but it was how to make a pattern from an existing piece of clothing you love. Kelly was great. My garment was almost an exact replica. Amazing."

"I took a beginning sewing class and much to my delight, I still remembered how to operate a sewing machine! Hannah, our instructor, was patient and knowledgeable."
- Elena S. 2/10/2008
"I took their beginner class last month with Kelly. It was great, although the first half is a TON of information and felt like too much information until you sit down at the machine and realize that it's all applicable."

"I've taken three classes there so far - beginner, purses, and tote bags - and I'm totally planning to go back and do more once I master the basics on the sewing machine that I just bought (at Stitch! they even sell machines now). The instructors are friendly - I especially liked Hannah - and the classes are small enough so that you get plenty of attention, which is great if you're like me and need to be shown how to thread the machine a few times before you finally get it.
